Gordon County Schools Transportation Department transports 4,500 students per day for 10 different district schools. We drive 240 individual routes per day. We operate and maintain a fleet of 88 buses, 5 drivers education cars, and 12 operations support vehicles.  We have a staff of 66 route drivers, 4 office personnel, 5 activity drivers, and 6 bus maintenance personnel.  We have over 50 school faculty members that are trained and licensed to operate our buses as well. 

Our fleet of 88 buses are inspected monthly. The fleet is inspected and certified by a state inspector annually. Our fleet consist of propane, diesel, and gasoline powered buses. All of our buses are equipped with video and audio surveillance cameras to insure the safety of our students and our drivers. Eleven of the 88 buses are wheelchair accessible special education buses.
